Celebration for my grand daughter's birthday.

Well it had to happen - a celebration that is usually based around food and cake. I believe I chose a good dinner. We went to Dave & Busters in Westlake. They have a Chicken Shrimp Rockefeller. It was so good. And the portion size fit into my "new eating" habit. Believe me, it was so good, I could have eaten 2.  Instead of a cake, my daughter made a cupcake type dessert. I had 1, but again, could have eaten 2 it was very good.

And of course, to celebrate St. Paddy's Day (with dinner Sunday) I made a Cottage Ham and cabbage and potatoes. Went a little overboard tonight but will make up for it tomorrow and stick to a lot of fruit and veggys.

Up and down the scale goes.  I will complete my final instruction at the Y for my training on Tuesday. NOW I JUST HAVE TO make it a part of my daily routine. It should get easier the more I go.

I hope everyone is doing well.  Uphill all the way.

Mediterranian Diet

I've been reading up on the Mediterranean diets.  Very interesting information and facts to live by.  Healthy and delicious at the same time.

UGH!

Started getting serious about exercising. UGH!!!  Muscles I totally forgot I had are reminding me that I still have them.

Gotta keep going. Gotta keep going. Just keep repeating. . .

Weigh in

YIPPEE!!!  I did well for the first weigh in. But 3 days after the weigh in, the candy/sugar monster raised up it ugly head and MADE me buy Hershey Kisses.  UGH!!!
But that is out of my system now and back I go. I am trying to eat as little sugar as possible. Also wheat products. that opens the door to lots of veggys,  fruits and lien protein.

Onward and upward for the next week.
